Board Members

Clallam Transit has a Board of eight elected members with an equal representation of Port Angeles, Forks, Sequim, and Clallam County, along with a designated non-voting union representative. Each member is appointed annually through the entity they represent. There are also designated alternates from the cities and county in the event that a regular Board member cannot attend. The majority of the Board meetings occur at the Administration building (830 W Lauridsen, Port Angeles, WA 98363). Twice a year the Board meets in Forks and in Sequim. The change in location is announced ahead of time. Be sure to check out the Calendar for meeting schedules.

City of Forks/North Olympic Library System (NOLS) 

Purpose: Authorize a "Tiny Olympic Library" at the Forks Transit Center

City of Sequim

Purpose: Easement related to Sequim Civic Center

Timeframe: January 26, 2016/Perpetual

 

Grays Harbor Transportation Authority, Intercity Transit, Jefferson Transit Authority, and MasonTransit Authority

Purpose: Cooperative summer youth pass program

Timeframe: 2017-2019

 

Jamestown S'Klallam Tribe

Purpose: Provide additional fixed-route service between Sequim and Blyn to Jamestown Campus

Timeframe: October 27, 2010/December 31, 2013

Purpose: Continue service for an additional period of time with approximately the current revenue hours for Route 50-Jamestown Campus and add reference to Exhibit 3 for current Federal Transit Administration (FTA) clauses

Timeframe: January 1, 2014/December 31, 2014

Purpose: Continue service for an additional period of time with approximately the current revenue hours for Route 50-Jamestown Campus

Timeframe: January 1, 2015/June 30, 2015

Purpose: Continue service for an additional period of time with approximately the current revenue hours for Route 50-Jamestown Campus

Timeframe: July 1, 2015/June 30, 2016

Purpose: Continue service for an additional period of time with approximately the current revenue hours for Route 50-Jamestown Campus

Jefferson Transit Authority

Purpose: Related to the provision of regional out-of-boundary CTS Route No. 123-The Strait Shot Service

Jefferson Transit Authority

Purpose: Define financial commitment for route deviated service (West Jefferson Olympic Connection) six days per week in western Jefferson County and between the communities of Forks, Washington, in Clallam County and Amanda Park, Washington, in Grays Harbor County

Timeframe: July 1, 2017/June 30, 2019

 

Kitsap Transit

Purpose: Related to the provision of regional out-of-boundary CTS Route No. 123-The Strait Shot Service

Timeframe: June 1, 2017/Indefinite

 

Mason County Transit 

Purpose: Cleaning Services

Timeframe: January 6, 2014/Automatic annual renewal

 

Multiple-Agency Reciprocal Maintenance Agreement

Purpose: Permit the member parties to cooperate to make the most efficient use of their resources by furnishing each other labor, equipment, and materials when available on a reimbursable basis for construction and maintenance activities.

Timeframe: June 6, 2002/Indefinite

 

Olympic Community Action Programs (OlyCAP)

Purpose: Operation of Job Lift program that provides transportation services that connect TANF-eligible individuals and other low-income (at or below 150% of federal poverty level) workers to jobs and other employment-related activities

Timeframe: July 1, 2015/June 30, 2017

Purpose: Continue the operation of Job Lift Program begun July 1, 2001

Timeframe: July 1, 2017/August 31, 2017

Purpose: Continue the operation of Job Lift program begun July 1, 2001

Timeframe: September 1, 2017/October 31, 2017

 

Quillayute Valley School District (QVSD)

Purpose: Joint Use of the Quillayute Valley School District (QVSD) Pupil Transportation Center (PTC) and provisions of maintenance services
