Passenger Rules of Conduct

Rules of Conduct


For the safety and comfort of all, Clallam Transit System prohibits undesirable conduct, including, but not limited to, the following:

 

  • Engaging in any illegal activity or conduct prohibited by RCW 9.91.025
  • Chewing tobacco, smoking, or vaping
  • Consuming intoxicating beverages
  • Failing to maintain reasonable personal hygiene
  • Eating aboard a vehicle
  • Drinking from unsealed containers
  • Obstructing the flow of CTS vehicles or passengers
  • Disturbing others
  • Using obscene language
  • Entering a CTS property or vehicle while lacking the ability to care for one's self because of illness, intoxication, or medication(s)
  • Failing to pay the required fare
  • Laying hands on or verbally intimidating a CTS employee
  • Any other conduct prohibited by the CTS Rules of Conduct

 

Passengers may be excluded from CTS vehicles and facilities and/or prosecuted for violation of RCW 9.91.025 for failure to comply with these rules of conduct. The complete text of the CTS Rules of Conduct is available for download or by contacting CTS at 360-452-4511.

Pets

If you wish to transport a pet, it must be placed in a secured pet container with a lid and not restrict the bus space for other passengers to sit.
