All employees receive a raise after successfully completing their probationary period and annual cost of living increases. Represented employees receive pay increases on their anniversaries up to Step 5 (see applicable wage table). Non-represented employees are eligible for a step increase every year on their anniversary during their performance review.
CTS offers 100% employer-paid medical/dental/vision insurance for employees. Optional affordable coverage is available for dependents with no premiums for dental.
Depending on which medical plan you select, the annual deductible can be as low as $200 with a $2,000 out of pocket max.
Employees have the option to waive medical insurance for themselves and qualifying dependents and instead CTS will deposit a designated amount into the employee's health reimbursement account (HRA).
We also offer no cost to employee coverage for basic life and long-term disability insurances with options to purchase additional coverages.
Eligible CTS employees are enrolled in the Public Employee Retirement System (PERS) pension.
Employees also have the option to enroll in a 457 Deferred Compensation Plan through ICMA (employee only contribution).
Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)
HRA is available for employees to use for qualifying out-of-pocket health expenses.
Additionally, employees receive longevity pay after five years of employment to their HRA that increases with years of service.
Flexible Savings Account (FSA)
Optional OneBridge account for employees to make pre-tax contributions to be used for reimbursements for eligible out-of-pocket medical and dependent care expenses.
No CDL? No problem! CTS offers paid-training for fixed-route operators obtaining their commercial driver license on-site. Additionally, CTS covers CDL endorsement reimbursement and USDOT medical examination costs.
Wellness Program $200/$400 annual reimbursement for employee/family. Works for gym memberships, park and recreation passes, the pool, and more!
CTS also has a fitness room onsite!
Supplemental Post-employment Healthcare Benefit Program (SPHBP) is available to eligible employees with 10 years of service up to $300/month per service credit.

All regular CTS employees are eligible to receive financial awards and tokens of appreciation or acknowledgement related to CTS business.
Recognition includes Employee of the Quarter, Employee of the Year, service awards, safety awards, and more. Employees are celebrated annually at an awards ceremony.
All employees and their qualifying family members can elect to receive a transit pass. While we are zero-fare for now, this still works for the Strait Shot Route #123 and the Hurricane Ridge Shuttle when in service!
